Newborns are funny people. They squeak, grunt, flail arms and legs, and are awake when you would think they would be asleep and vice versa. It is always amazing to me how such personality comes in such a little package. This little guy was wide awake most of the photo shoot. Such a cute little peanut!

Where have you been?

I am quite certain this blog is feeling a serious case of neglect. However, I am trying to pull myself out of a hole right now. June 13th was a big day here at the Roorda house. My 4th child made a surprise early arrival at 2:30 am. He then spent 10 days in the NICU. I am slowly, but surely, coming out of the post baby fog. Of course, now my days are filled with kissing his sweet fuzzy head, smelling like spit up, laundry – so much laundry, and other VERY glamorous details. However, fall is approaching and there are several photography events coming up you won’t want to miss. More about that in the next post. For now, I want to share my sweet boy with you.
